Father’s Day Grilling Recipes

All Father’s love steak.  Here are two easy recipes for great steak on the grill:

Beef Sate with Peanut Dipping Sauce

For Steak, 1 (1 pound) flank steak, 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce.  Cut the steak diagonally across grain into 1/4 inch thick slices.  Combine steak and hoisin in a boil.  Thread steak onto skewers and grill until desired doneness.  When done, sprinkle skewers with 2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro.

For Peanut Dipping Sauce, Combine 2 tablespoons of coconut milk, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 1/2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice, and 1/2 red curry paste.  (This is for 4 servings)

Easy Steak Rub

Combine 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin, and 3 garlic cloves minced.  Let it set for about 30 minutes and then  rub on steak.  Grill steak to desired doneness. This is enough rub for about 1 1/2 pounds of steak.  Makes the steak very moist and tasty
